Press 1
It's my first time in Bangkok. I've had the great pleasure to meet Pucci, I absolutely love her sexy sultry voice and the way she engages with the audience. I loved her performance so much I went back the very next night for a second dose! She is truly a fun and beautiful artist. I'm truly appreciative to have had the experience. I will never forget it!

The other night we had the privilege of checking out the Jazz music at the Sheraton Grande. We had heard a lot about the band and the visiting singer from NYC, Pucci Amanda Jhones.

Randy, Pong and Chris are veterans of their instruments, so it wasn't something we were going to miss.

Amanda was absolutely amazing. Her rendition of 'Summertime' told a story that brought tears to our eyes.

The evening was superb. The music was superb. The energy that Amanda displayed was amazing. We all were having a very good evening, dancing, clapping and cheering. It was as perfect a night as you could imagine.

It was during one of Randy’s arrangements, which Amanda told us was called Morning', that something happened. She was singing and sounded smooth and soulful despite that fact that Randy could be heard yelling, “All I hear is Pucci in my monitor!” Grant you, Amanda had just finished singing “Summertime” and two other songs before this.

All of a sudden the drummer stopped playing his drums in the middle of the song, crossed the stage in front of Amanda, who looked surprised but continued to sing. Then we noticed the sound changed, the dynamics of her voice were lost in the mix. I was shocked and embarrassed for her.

Although, we had a fantastic time I must admit Randy and Chris's (the drummer) actions were unprofessional, to put it mildly! The remixing of the sound should have at least been held over until the song was over, rather than discussed during it!

I’m giving five stars to Pucci Amanda Jhones, for her talent, energy, love for music and her professionalism. The drummer and Randy - you guys both just embarrassed yourself.

Daniel Kramer: “Kazan is one of the cities that have managed to keep their face”

Daniel Kramer and Pucci Amanda Jhones gave a press conference for Tatar-inform.

(Kazan, November 15, Tatar-inform, Lucia Kamalova). Kazan is one of the Russian cities that have managed to keep their face, one of the best known jazz popularisers Daniel Kramer told a news conference for Tatar-inform that took place at a Museum of Socialist Life.

The conversation was timed to coincide with a series of concerts in Kazan called “Jazz Evenings with Daniel Kramer”. The first concert called “Black Jazz” that included a magnificent US singer Pucci Amanda Jhones on Monday took place at the Saidashev Concert Hall and was a success.

Daniel Kramer said he had more than once taken walks in the Kazan Kremlin that he liked it very much. “I remember Kazan before the reconstruction, I have come here for many years and see the present-day Kazan. I like many things. Especially that the atmosphere of the old Kazan has been kept, that the small buildings have not been removed, unlike they did in Moscow,” the musician shared. He conceded he was not sure if he liked the present-day look of Moscow.

“I am glad they have been able to save the ancient buildings in Kazan during the reconstruction. If your authorities have been able to counter the demolition, I am happy with your authorities. I like it here, it is one of the cities that have, fortunately, been able to keep their face. This is what I wish to you in the future as well,” Daniel Kramer said.

This visit is Kramer’s second seasonal jazz programme in Kazan. Last season the famous pianist and composer gave 3 concerts that enjoyed a full house at the State Great Concert Hall.

This season, Daniel Kramer will gladden the audience with more new discoveries and unique concerts.

"A wonderful New Year's Eve spent here"
The Living Room is an awesome place for jazz lovers. We came here to celebrate New Year's Eve and we were WOWed! Food was fabulous- what a way to eat your heart out with high quality and incredibly fresh seafood (lobster, caviar etc) and foie gras to end 2014 and to welcome 2015. The jazz music started with a solo pianist Josh who sounded like Michael Franks, James Taylor and Elton John at times. The Randy Cannon jazz band with Pucci Amanda Jhones as the soloist- from the USA sings like one of the top international jazz singer. What an amazingly sophisticated, highly talented and artistic singer she is! Randy Cannon the jazz band were awesome. All in all I am so thankful that we took the recommendation from our friend who used to live in Bangkok- to go and listen to their music at The Living Room and be ready to mesmerize-- We chose the perfect night as well! Cheers
